Good Quote from the book the Prophet which both of us are reading courtesy of Judy:
"even as the earth sleeps we travel"....
Today, Judy and I spent an hour and a half looking for the Alfaro bus station(literally, everyone we asked told us a diff direction). Finally, we find it tucked away in the back of a little soda, and I get tics for the bus tomorrow(Tamarindo). Then, it's on to a bookstore in Escazu where I finally get info about a decent yoga class and Judy picks up a couple new books. Then, its on to get facials/manicures from Maytae...very relaxing...fyi: if you want to pick up some spanish, spend an afternoon in a salon with a few ticas...you will def. pick up a thing or two! Then, we get a crew of about 12 together for the National Theater for Flamenco Dancing! It was very interesting, they fused Flamenco with some modern jazz for one set, the last part was the our favorite, it consisted of a guitar player, a singer,a guy drumming on a box, and a solo Flamenco dancer...the singer's voice was amazing, suedo "Gypsy Kingish"...Afterwards we decided to go have drinks in Alajuela, then to Escazu(gringoville) to some clubs before rounding the night out with a strip club...which is where Chant and I proceeded to get on stage and, despite audience encouragement("sin ropa"), kept our clothes on....its crazy what sounds like a good idea after about 8 tequila shots!
