My week long stay here has been wonderful at her cozy/hip house. I’ve been spoiled with our daily coffee chats and healthy meals. Meanwhile, Vannah has kept us on our toes with her constant cat chases in the yard and running away to the "beach" to then luckily be found by a stranger.
My first night here tornado warnings/sirens went off 3x
One day we traveled to Plymouth, Indiana to Lynn’s good friend’s antique shop! This place was packed solid from floor to ceiling with souvenirs from past lives. I picked up a Domestic brand sewing machine iron table/base for only $35. My plan is to buy a black/brown slab of granite for the top. The gold vintage lamp was only $10. (SEE PICTURES)
One morning Lynn had an idea that we should collaborate on an art project by covering her birdbath with mosaics. I had never tried it but was always interested! All we needed was tile adhesive/glue and glass pieces. Lynn broke unused dishes/mirrors for our supplies. It was fun to work with the variety of different shapes and put it together like a puzzle. The LOVE stone in the middle was found on the lake shore. One by one we created this amazing beauty that I will miss but all the neighborhood birdies can now enjoy! (SEE PICTURES)
