Hey hey. so here I am in Adelaide ... beleive I haven't sent an update since I left Perth.

Josh and I few into Adelaide on Sunday and basically did dick all since. A city is a city is a city is a city I say! Get me the fuck out!!! My plan is to get back to my original plan (which I have somehow strayed from in the last couple of weeks!) - Do Melbourne till New Years (if I make it that long!) and then get to Auckland, see Janer and Rich and then it's wwoofing all the way!!! YEAY! I'm gonna be a spinner extroidinare! no more of this city hostel nonsense! I'm gonna become the sheep queen that I was born to be! Me and the sheep in NZ, sheering, spinning and knitting like mad! I'll get buff, my hands will be covered in caloses and I'll have an unlimited amount of hot farm hands at my disposal! don't laugh, that's how it works in NZ, I saw it in a dream.

So yeah. I'm here in Adelaide, was going to spend the day at the beach because despite being in Australia since October I have yet to be to the beach! But then I slept in till 1pm and then it started pissing. Josh took off to Melbourne early this morning. the city is really getting to him, he's crying and complaining about everything so when he said he was leaving I said I'd stay .... need to regroup with myself ... besides, this trip was meant to be a solo one! Needless to say, I will miss the company of my little hobbit friend ... his ability to cook and wash dishes, his love for "making things" and his tolerance for 2 hour visits to yarn stores. As Chris would say "he's a funny fucker".

Speaking of Chris, I got a call from him today (Butterfly farm owner). He called to see how I was going and where I was at and most importantly, to make sure I am happy ... which is always his number one concern. He's off in a couple weeks for a three month trip to Thialand, Jamacia, Bermuda, Hawaii and Europe. Crazy guy. He's gonna scrub toilets in Thialand for cheap dive lessons - is going for his dive masters. Love that guy, am REALLY starting to miss the northern territory a lot. It's definately my favorit part of Australia. Everything is differernt up there! moves at a different pace and the people there are basically just weird (my favorit quality in people)!

So, I have been looking for lifts to Melbourne and found one today ... and guy named Mark called up to say he was leaving in the next couple of days. We were goingt meet up tomorrow, but be the end of the day I just couldn't take it anymore so I decided to fuck it and take the bus. Is probably cheaper anyways with the cost of gas here anyways. So I"m off tomorrow morning at 7:30. Will be a relief ... just not doing anything with myself here ... except of course the wine tasting tour that Josh and I went on yesterday. Fantastic!! 9 hours of drinking wine and eating gooooood food!! We did 4 vineyards including Jacob's Creek (many of you should be familiar). Within the first 2 hours of the tour Josh got naked and was promptly doubed "Captain Naked" by our tour guide. I'll send a picture later when I am able to upload pics. Josh and I did our nations proud by drinking more than everyone else! All in the name of education I say!! Was a good day.

Anyways, I am off .... need to get some packing done before the people in my dorm go to sleep.

Wish me luck in Melbourne ... oh the sheep the sheep are calling though!!

Just a geek fact for ya ...
I am often told that I have rediculous geek facts stored in this brain of mine. You may be pleased to hear this Miss Clay, in regards to your supposed caloused hand (Im not noted for my wonderous ability to spell mind you), I happen to have heard that sheep farmers have some of the most amazingly silky soft hands in the world. It has something to do with the 'lanoline' in the sheep skin which moisturises the wool. Rich snooty New York and Parisian woman pay oodles of dole to get the lanoile extract in their skin care products, and you my dear are going to be getting it for free! So sheer away Shannon and even roll around with some of those sheep but dont get too carried away with it.
So there is your geek update for the day. Glad to be of service. Good luck, have fun and Merry Christmas to all of you out there!
