On the last day in New York. I left my hostel at 11, or the check-out time of the hostel. Actually, I had satisfied with my trip in New York and there was no place where I really wanted to go at the time. Still, I had a plan to visit Central Park again, because I had seen about one-third of the park in my first visit. I took the subway to Harlem and walked toward Central Park. Shintom-san told me to stay away from Harlem, but the area looked like a usual residential area against my expectation. I saw a general shop on the way and I got a few pair of socks for $3. To tell the truth, I had been wearing the same socks since I left my large backpack in Montreal. So I was glad to buy socks there. Anyway, Central Park was worth revisiting. I enjoyed mini-bushwalking, watching kids' ice hockey games, strolling around the reservoir and attending a family event. Maybe Central Park is the greatest city park of the world. I also saw many joggers in the park and New Yorkers seemed really health-conscious. At four o'clock, I took a Megabus on the 34th Street and departed for Philadelphia.
