On the second day in Munich, I had no plan, but when I was viewing the Eurail Map, I realized Switzerland is close to Munich and the Eurail Pass is also valid there!! I immediately made a plan to visit Zurich, where I didn't know very much, except that it is the largest city in Switzerland. In fact, I changed my mind on the way to Zurich and went to Lucern, because my LP guide said the city had more natural beaty than Zurich. It turned out to be true soon after that, but I realized a big problem in Lucerne tourist information. The main attraction in the city would have taken more time than I planned to spare in there. At that time, I had booked "the Tent" for that night and a train ticket for Prague for the next day. It was a tough choice, but in the end, I had to give up the picturesque view from the top of the mountain there. I just strolled in the city where a festival was held. There were a flee market along the river and a stage for bands, but I was not interested in them. Then I took a ferry to a small town on the lake, expecting it would satisfy me. Because my Eurail pass was valid for the ferry, I didn't care how much for a ride, although Swiss franc was supposed to be expensive. The city and the lake were very beautiful, but I couldn't enjoy them enough. Come to think of it, I didn't buy anything there, not a meal, not a souvenier and not a ticket for an tourist attraction.
