On the train to Bucharest, I met a Serbian doctor (GP). He was boasting of his manual techniques and his grandfather's credit in Germany. He said, "Because Romania is a developing country, it doesn't have enough facilities to exam and treat patients. That's why Romanian doctors should have good manual technique." He looked confident in his profession and life itself.
I don't wanna say this, but "Eurpopean railways are loose." In Budapest, I missed an international train because of the delay of another train. This time, the train to Bucharest was late four and half hours. In addition, they didn't even say sorry. I was really fed up with train delays. Due to the delay, I had to change my schedule. In the original plan, I was supposed to go to Sinaia and Brasov, attractive Pensilvanian towns. But I just went sightseeing in Bucharest for a couple of hours.
Anyway, the station didn't have a TI office. Bucharest might not be a tourist spot. To make matters worse, I didn't have LP guide for Romania. Eventually I couldn't do anything memorable in the city. That was the worst day in my European journey. The best memory in Bucharest was a city market. A cheese seller gave me a piece of cheese. On that day, even the tivial thing made me happy enough. There was a street vender selling pretty large water mellons. They were also impressive, but that's all.
