Do you know? Well we didn´t really either until Air Canada helped us to find out.  Check outthe map and youtoo will get a geography lesson...Yes its true,we had YET ANOTHER adventura getting here toChile. A little birdie told us that the flight we were on from Toronto to Santiago Chile was oversold, so like the true ¨get it free if you can¨ travelers that we are, we volunteered to be bumped from our flight. Sure enough we were, but instead of getting to visit Seth and Katya, Tonya and Jamie for another day,we got sent to Sao Paolo, Brazil. The great part was the fact that the only seats available were those killer super business first bed chair thingies, so we could sleep. We have pics to upload of how cool these seats were. They also gave us some compensation which is also exciting for our next flight. The bad part was that our 24 hour day morphed into a 36 hour day and needless to say our luggage did not arrive when we did. It still hasn´t. But we are hopeful.

Santiago is great. So far we really like the architecture, the cool little streets and just how damn modern and western it is. We´were pretty spoiled from Asia with the exotic and underdeveloped. Not the case here.

The free Sheraton is pretty great too. We have a gigantic room with two t.v.s that look alot like the one Michelle someday hopes to buy us and a nice big bathroom with dos sinks. We have no clean clothes or toiletries so we don´t look as good as the room...

So far, everything we have eaten has been really good. We had a fabulous dinner last night (gourmet tofu... really!) and the breakfast this am was also fabulous--we think this bodes well for S. America. Food is a big priority, isn´t it though?

That´s all for now...hitting the end of my 30 minutes here at the Biblioteca national. more soon from Chilean wine country, which is hopefully next.

Hey you two. This was the first e-mail reminder I have received since your first two from India. I just thought you weren't able to get on-line. I now have much anticipated reading to do. Your itinerary sounds remarkable. I am impressed with your stamina. Safe travels to you both. We miss you, especially Tuesday nights for long kriya (now at our house). Guruji will be in SF on March 1st and... show all
