Today I did some exercise. I also did some stretches and then I ran on the treadmill for 20 minutes. It was a good workout. I could tell because my legs and arms were tired. I hadn't sweated much so there was no need for a shower. I also went through all my katas. After all of this I prepared lunch which was like craft dinner but it was fettuccine. They have one serving packets of pasta. I had bought macaroni and cheese, macaroni with cheese & bacon and one fettuccine. They turn out really good. I like them because their creamy and fill you up really nicely.
I also have one that's chicken curry, it didn't have much chicken in it so I took some of the leftover chicken from last night and put it in with the pasta.
We went on an expedition to Hell's Gate today, it's a hot spring, natural geothermal waters. It's very nice and worth the 254 it costs to enter. It's a self guided tour but they give you a pamphlet and if you read it as you go along it's just as interesting as it would have been if a tour guide was with you. We got to do some wood carving of traditional Maori designs and got to keep them as a souvenir. We also ate supper at the restaurant. We wanted to eat the traditional maori dinner but they stopped serving it at 1,30. We drank tea and got more then 5 cups out of one pot so that was well worth it.
The man in charge of the wood carving told us that we should take advantage of the hot springs and go dip our feet in the foot pool. We had though that we weren't allowed to do so and needed to pay to use the foot pool but no it was free! The water was the perfect temperature, not to warm and not to cold and the bottom of the pool was lined in mud. It wasn't slimy though, the mud felt very smooth and soothing. It was soft as silk and made out feet very soft in turn.
That's all we did today
