July 5th

Yesterday, I can't even remember yesterday. I think that's a sure sign of aging. I'm going senile. So yes, lets see, yesterday was a very rainy day. Very anyproductive. I had slept a lot, going to bed at 9 and waking up late ( well relatively late by our standards, 8.30). I felt a lot better and I have stopped chaughing a lot. I still chaugh sometimes but it's less ofen and quite spontanious because my thoat doesn't hurt anymore. We ate breakfast which was a bowl of cerial, a kiwi, a banana, a glace of juice and a cup of yogurt. Then I washed up, brushed my teath and lay back down to listen to the rain fall on the roof of our building.

We spent a lot of time reading that day, I finished "The Secret Life of Bees" and started "The mermaid Chair". Once we'd lounged around for harlf the day we headed over to the grandparents lodge to ask them if they wanted to come with us to book the dolfin tour that included a visit to the Hole in the Rock. We stayed there a good two hours before my grandfather agreed to come with us. Audry didn't feel like moving. We first went to the bank machine to get out some money, I find it strange that they don't charge ahything when you take out money, unlike in amarica and Canada there's no service fee so far. While we were there there was a big gust of wind, or rather a small rain storm which caused the power to go out. Conveniently this happened right when the bank machine was supposed to return my grandfathers bank card. He has to wait untill monday, when all the "things" that were in the machine get taken to the bank, in hopes of retreaving it. We were able to book the tour though, we paid in cash and they were able to give us a ticket manually.

I wanted to buy an internet card from an info site, 5$ for 1h 15 mins but they couldn't sell anythign with the power out. They rely on electricity to power their computers, their cash registers and their phones.

The day wasn't a total loss in respects to sight seeing because we took a fairy to Rusell. Blyme it was windy, so windy half the shops were closed, not that there were that many shops to begin with. Most of the shops we went into were art galery/shops ^^ They have lots of neet art that they wouldn't let me photograph, understandably, so I have nothing to show to you guys. I enjoyed the stay emencely if it had not been for the wind it would have been glorius. At one of the little art galeries I found a small colection of art supplies, I bough some chalk pastels, a moldable eraser and what I call a smudger for shading with pencil chalk or carcoal. There's a specific name for it but I've never heard it so I'll have to look it up somehow. We also vidited the Rusell museum which costs 5$ and has a very expencive gift shop. It was a very quaint little town and the museum was very informative, interesting and overall historic :p

We road the fast boat back to Paihia and ate hamberger patties with rice and brocoli for dinner. I took a shower which would have felt nice and refreshingly welcome if I were alowed to enjoy it but there's a 5 min time limit on showers.

over all the day was confused. It kept raining off and on as if someone was washing a lot of dishes up in heaven and had to keep emptying the sink. It would be cloudy one minute then sunny the next...and sometimes there were sunshowers.

Hope you've all have a sunny day
