June 30th 2008

I'm really tired tonight, so I don't want to spend much time staying awake, it's 8 p.m and the jet lag is catching up with me. Yesterday night I had a shower. The water was scalding hot and burned down my body. It was nice because we'd spent the whole day walking around Auckland so my whole body was sore. Also, yesterday night was the first time I got to wear my hello kitty Pyjamas.

Saw vegimite in the corner store yesterday.

Ate a kiwi for breakfast this morning, it was very good, ripe and sweet.

We practised Karate this morning, warm up, stretching and katas.

Left the Hotel at two and walked down to the wharf. We were going to take the green buses that are supposed to take people on mini tours, but no green buses stopped for us.

We bought our fairy tickets, 20$ which was a special because it was usually 35$ bought the weather's been awful lately and today was very nice.

we waited an hour for our fairy and I walked around window shopping. There was a grocery store near by and inside i found a Subway! The prices were similar to the ones in Canada and they hold up the tradition of having a "sub of the day". Today, Monday's, special sandwich was beet ball sub.

I also found some rice cakes, but it casts 4$ for 6.

The fairy ride was awesome, I'll put up some more pictures. There are lots of hot spots were the houses cost a pretty penny. On one island the houses cost up to a million dollars.

We found a boat, the doulos, that is a travelling library. Apparently they sail the world promoting reading and the bible.

I bought five books, Oliver Twist, Jane Eyre, Chemistry, Manga massaya and tom Sawyer for 30$

Then we ate out at a restaurant called the Neptune.

Sorry it's not as detailed as yesterdays, I'm really tired and don't have as much time or energy as yesterday.

Love you all

HugZ!
