not much to report, just a quick stop back in bangkok. we've actually done a fair bit of cheap shopping, giving us some much needed new cloths. it was a national holiday on monday, as it was the kings b-day. the thai are pretty easy going people, but never insult or bad mouth the king here, he is much loved, and a picture of him hangs just about everywhere you go. there was lots of dancing and fire works, as well as a candle holding thing, i think to the national anthem, again an insult not to stand up.
the other night we managed to stay up to 5 in the morning to watch the hammers, and thankfully they complied by winning. managed to catch charlton on sunday, thats gotta hurt (ed, linda). and again yesterday, i decided to really go for the body art, and spent 6 hours having a tattoo on my ankle, sorry mum! i can honestly say it bloody hurt, and still hurts now, but i'm so happy with the result, don't worry miss mcshea, your daughters happy the way she is. we ended night celerbrating with some big sweedes (the people not the veg), an austrian and a girl from suffolk, feeling a little groggy today, tonight we head for the beach, although i think its raining down that way, i'm sure we'll work out sonething to do!
feels all a bit easy after india, but are gonna relax and enjoy it More thumbnails ...

Lovely tats!
You both got the same, ahhh ;) Isn't that a kind of hippy-type-traveller marriage?!
