Am really loving India but there are a few things that are not so charming
! First is the fact men pee absolutely everywhere all along the streets without a care in the world! There was also a young boy of about 4 the other day squatting a meter from the road (facing it!)happily watching the huge volume of traffic pass buy as he curled one out,
(for want of a better fraise!) Men are also quite content to have a really good sorting and rearranging session while looking or talking to you! And thirdly the one that winds Danny up the most is the constant really really obvious staring that we but unfortunately mostly me get. Men, women, children everyone will watch you, take pictures of you, point at you go and get some friends to also come and and take a look. Is very amusing! Our biggest record yet is about 35 people all crowded round us just looking when we stopped to get a drink on our way to Jaipur. If I wasn't self conscious before I am now!
Heading back into the hectic crazy driving busy streets of a city again was a little hard for us all. Jaipur was manic and the people just as eager to stare! We had all relaxed a bit outside of the city so after looking at just one more fort and the worst museum ever (one of the displays was a tiny toy plastic aeroplane glued to a display board) we decided to go back to the hostel and have a few beers before heading out for dinner. In the place we were staying there was a wedding celebration happening upstairs. There were loads of people all looking at the world through huge quantities of whisky! All very friendly and wanting to chat but the whisky had its big foot right across the language barrier! After drinks dinner and more drinks Mark almost had a fight and we all crawled into our mozzie filled room to sleep.
