Well it was interesting spending the night in our make shift camp site. There was a dog that hung around us until we left. We thought he was a stray, but his owner came and got him before we left. Since we were really close to Yosemite, it only took us a few minutes to get there. We had a great time driving through the park. Occasionally we got out to take a small hike or eat lunch… The first place we stopped was by a stream. We took our shoes off and got in the water a little bit. The scenery was really pretty. When we stopped for lunch, Mason found huge pine cones from the red woods that were over a foot long.

Fortunately we were able to spend the night in a more civilized place, a KOA camp groundJ

This morning to find what we guessed to be a stray dog wandering around our camp site, but later found out it was actually some ones pet.  We headed out to Yosemite around nine o'clock, and arrived shortly after. Our first stop we got out of the car and walked out to a stream. We were skipping stones and wading. Since it was the free weekend there was a huge line going into Bridalvail falls so we didn’t get to see that. Next we drove up to a look out and saw Nevada and Vernal falls. Than that evening we left Yosemite and camped at Oakherst.   ~Mason
