Today we got up, had cereal and a peach, and while we were eating we were discussing what we were going to do today.  So after we decided what we were doing to do today we started getting ready. We climbed up the hill and stopped and looked fore couple of seconds and saw the city and the cannons and then Marshall spotted a lizard. Then when got to the top we could see everything, so we got down and Marshall found two lizards then we got to the car.

Today we went on a hike with our uncle Dean. We hiked up to a rock formation called Liberty Cap. It was a two mile hike which had pretty rough terrain. It was eighty nine degrees, and so dry, that you could barley tell you were sweating because of how fast your sweat evaporated.  But the view at the top was worth the effort, you could look into canyons several hundred feet deep on either side.  The wind was blowing so hard it felt like it would blow you right off the cliff! Fortunately that didn't happen and we finished the hike with out any injury, except for a small one. I got poked through my shoe when I stepped on a little Cactus while trying to videotape a lizard. Right now we’re just chilling at our uncle’s house.

Great day, it was nice to hang out in Grand Junction with my brother instead of driving several hundred miles. The hike we did to day was 4 milesof rugged terrain in the desert mountains. It wasted me phyically but the views were incredible. Kathleen and I went to a local winery and tasted dome very nicce wines and picked up some peached and apricots at one of the many orchards in the area. Tommorew we pack up and head for Arches NP and the Painted Desrt and the Petrified forest -Glenn

Sounds cool. We also saw a lot of lizards out west in the canyons. Matt, that's a nice picture of that lizard, but it came at a price. :) Nice blog Mark.:) The painted desert and the petrified forest are pretty cool. Keep blogging!
