Mujers is said to have been tranquil and beautiful beach. Apparently the thirty minute ferry ride from Cancun is no longer enough to keep Cancun-style development out. High rise hotels and beach side bars with phalanxes of beach chairs now blight the beach. It looks like I need to find another beach town to ride out my last few days on this trip.
