13 km of Confederation Bridge, drove the Blue Heron Coastal drive and you see...iron red sand and earth, Bed and Breakfasts Anne of Green Gables ( a famous fiction story by Lucy Maud Montgomery inspired by the beauty of P.E.I.) lots of golf courses rides and amusement parks. www.peiplay.com Potato , wheat, fishing is the main industry.
Romantic place to visit and relax. I went to the firehall and they have a bar on the 3rd floor for the public, I was going to end up there but met 5 coast guard cadets that were partying and we ended up at the Pier Quaye? Hoping night club open air with a huge patio right on the warf. Then to a house party with their friends. There was probably 30 people from Souri, PEI scattered all over the floor.
I got up early and headed to the ferry into $55.00 - 1.5 hrs into Nova Scotia. I drove to Sydney and went to a Drive in !!! Coast Guard Team
Coast Guard Team
! It was awesome. Then I drove down the road and stopped along the coast overlooking the ocean. (Annies lookout 230 m high) Followed the Cabot trail around the North of Cape Bretton Island. Lots of scottish influence and Acadian too. So many cultures in on Country - that's why we are Canadian!
This area that was discovered by Giovanni Caboto (John Cabot) around 1497 is beautiful and looks very similar to Kamloops, B.C. It is lobster fishing season and the whales are migrating. Beautiful day so I went out with Captain Mark from Pleasant Bay Marina and we saw 8- Minke about 30 ft( one dead floating - neat) 4 - 4ft harbour dolphins, seal, birds. Then I went on the Cabot hike along the Skyline. One of 15 beautiful hikes. Lots of moose and other little animals around. I am on my way South to Halifax, Nova Scotia and to find me some Keith's brew and some spilly-talkers.

Truth sets in about the great GC
I'm glad you realize who this great Italiano was and his discoveries. It seems that that your having a blast and it has been only a month. I really don't have much more to say, except I met someone alot cooler than you and it don't travel as much either. So its my new friend.
