The end of South East Asia... Cooky flew out early this morning to Tokyo and Dylan and I catch a flight at 12:45 pm tommorrow for Cairo. We all went on a little bit of a shopping spree, spending little money and gaining alot of dross (Dylan bought something like 40 fake DVDs). Our second visit to Chatuchak market - the boys went out to Patpong last nite (the sex slave capital of Asia - that's not what they were there for...there also happens to be a great night market) - today I had a one hour Thai massage for less than $6...unbelievable. And the craziest thing...I ran into Yvonne at one of the restaurants on Kao Sanh, having a Mai Tai, shooting the breeze, and she's off home to Germany again. She was a little perturbed we never made it up to Koh Tao for a dive with her. Nonetheless...an agreement was reached over breakfast that it is definitely time to leave Thailand and all of South East Asia. 3 1/2 months is enough. These damn tailors and tuk-tuk drivers that hassle you all day and night are starting to get on my nerves.
