It's already day three of the trip. A little update: We are currently staying in Hollywood with Boston Rob and getting ready for a sweet little roadie down to Huntington Beach, San Diego, and Mexico (where the waves are currently flat, but no matter)...So far the journey has been great. We arrived in LA 2 nights ago, Boston Rob picked us up at the airport and Dylan, myself,Rob, and Chelsea went out to a pub in Hollywood for a beer - we shut things down early, woke up the next morning and went for a surf. The waves were pretty small so we thought we'd give Malibu a try...it was unreal...only about 8 people in the water - unheard of in Malibu! The waves were tiny but nicely shaped as always...
Later on after the surfing we caught some Z's and went for a walk to the Grove and up to Sunset Boulevard...Dylan was jacked to see Whiskey-A-Go-Go's (where The Doors, Bob Dylan, the Beach Boys, and Motley Crue all used to play)...we stopped in at Virgin Records, and Tower and had a fantastic Mexican meal...also stopped in at Enterprise on sunset to try and locate some old friends from my California days. We then went off to Hooters in Santa Monica at the prominade to meet up with Julian, Nikki P, and Rob Aguilara - great to see everyone and have some pints...and here we are this morning... heading off to rent a car from Nikki and hit the road like usual...
