Sandboarding. Those Peru boys are no joke! They take frosty snowy days where youīd get a old fertilizer bag and skeem away down the side of hillock to a new level! Arrived in Ica from Lima, a nice 4 hour bus jourey down the coast, with loads of evidence of the earthquake along the way. Poor feicers, the poor seem to the ones hit the worst.

So anyhow, got the taxi from Ica out to the oasis lagoon that is Huacachina twown, a little town built around a lake, and took off on a 6 seater dune buggy with sandboards (homemade snowboards, bits of wood with glorified wellies stuck on), and went into the sanddunes for 2 hours. Great laugh. loads of falls and tumbles, but thoroughly enjoyable. The spins in the dune buggies was like a roller coaster, the lads drivin them didnīt care a bit for the machines, trying their best to capsize them! Ended with a nice sunset in the dunes.

Hereīs a few vidīs I uploaded of that trip...
