Udaipur - The eye of the Tiger....
Our last historic stop in the beautiful and vibrant Rajasthan where we stayed in a hotel called "The Tiger"..... thought it might bring us good luck before we hit the Ranthambhore National Park and go on Safari to see the Tigers......!
We set out to see the sights and enjoy some more local cuisine but ended up just kicking about the first day with plans to see the sights the next day. Mish did some shopping.
First evening we set out to see some traditional Rajasthani dancing as well as a puppet show. The last dancer ended up balancing 10 pots on her head whilst dancing and practically doing push up's!
Second day we went and visited the impressive city palace and Jagdish temple and then Mish did some more shopping....! Unbelievable how cheap things are over here.
Meal for 2 in a good restaurant costs no more than 30 pounds including wine..... eat at a normal restaurant and you are paying no more than 5 pounds!!
Really relaxing and enjoyable time here but raring for some action and something other than sight seeing. Bring on the Tigers........
