Today we visited an elementary school! We travel with an elementary version of our high school videos, but we hadn't actually shown one in an actual elementary school.

We had to set up our program in a cafeterium... a small gymnasium that serves as the cafeteria. Emphasis on small.  Our show is projected on three screens, each about 15 feet long. There was a small stage, but it was only about 20 or 25 feet wide. So we had to set up on the floor. It actually worked out very well. The kids sat on the floor, and we had a lot of fun with them.

This particular video was about trust, and being a trustworthy person. In our introduction to the video, we demonstrated what trust is by doing a trust fall. Kelsey introduced the concept, and called me up to fall back into her arms. According to plan, she stepped aside, and I fell flat on my back. True to elementary form, it got a big laugh from the kids. Kelsey especially loved doing a show for little kids. It was a refreshing and fun time.

We also got mail today. We got our company shirts--black polos with the Camfel logo.

So! Since we're so close to the Jersey shore, we decided to spend the weekend in the area, We found a motel out on the close. Pretty high rate for a less-than-classy room, but the location's nice. We're staying in Seaside Heights, a little coastal town out on a strip of land a half-mile wide.

This afternoon we did laundry. It was our first laundromat. Not a bad experience. We spent the time booking hotels for this coming week, and felt the relief of completing our long-overdue loads of clothes.

With the important things out of the way, we walked out to the boardwalk. There were arcades, so we spent a few quarters on some games. We walked along the beach--which was actually very nice! The sand here is clean and fine, and shells are washed up along the waterline. Surfers are tackling the waves out there, too.

We had dinner at a little beach grille, bought a beach blanket for tomorrow, and headed back to our room.

The weather looks great for this weekend! We'll enjoy sleeping in on Saturday morning, and then hitting the beach! We'll keep ya posted :)
