Change of Plans

One of the neat things about travelling SE Asia, is that you can change your mind at the very last minute, and not really have any consequences. For example, we had planned to go right up to the Laos border and then make our way south, and eventually east, over to Cambodia. However, the night before we left to head North from Udon Thani, we decided heck, let's start heading South now. So we did.
We took a 10 hour bus ride from Udon Thani back to Bangkok. We'll be here for a few days and then make our way along the South East coast of Thailand on the way to Cambodia. We'll be hitting up Pattaya (a really touristy, but beachy city) and probably some islands such as Ko Chang, as well.
That's about it at this end - remember we like hearing what you're up to, as well!!!!
