The morning still brought damp, cold weather, so we didn't waste any time and got on the road early in the morning.  We will definately come back to the Harbor Vista campground again though....the sites were private, surrounded by greenery, they had hot showers and the ocean was steps away.
We even found several "fun photo" spots along the road.

Along the road we stopped at Bullards Beach.  Pretty cool as we had to climb over a sand dune to get to the beach.  If anyone ever wants to hit the dunes in a buggy, Bullards Beach is the place to go.  We are driving through during the off-season so they were not open...otherwise I believe we would've taken a drive ourselves.

I can not begin to tell you how excited we were when we drove past a "West Coast Game Park" sign that promised we'd be able to walk amongst and pet the animals.  This may bring up thoughts of the "African Lion Safari" for the Ontario folk, however this game park removes the safe enclosure of your vehicle and puts you in the middle of nature.  And for Stewball....imagine a wild animal park where "your vehicle is not your cage".  Unfortunately this park was closed for the winter season as well, and this was beginning to be the theme of the trip as we then passed the "closed for the winter" Prehistoric Gardens.  We still took the opportunity to snap photos of 'Nilla being chased by a T-Rex.

We stopped along the highway just outside of Gold Beach to snap a scenic photo, when all of a sudden we realized we were parked next to a personalized highway sign.  Check it out Roachy.  Then we headed to Harris Beach for the night.  Rather than push and drive all the way to the Redwoods today, we decided to hit it in the morning.  Hopefully they don't close the Redwood Forsest for the winter ;).

And of course we have a photo album attached.....
