Our day started with breakfast at 7:30am onboard the Junk. It was glorious looking over the bay and Titop beach while tucking into freshly made omlettes and vietnamese coffee.

As everyone else on the cruise had booked for only 1 night, they headed back to the wharf while we continued for day 2 on on our own. A smaller (but still sizable) boat collected us and a guide for a mini cruise and kayaking. We had the boat to ourselves and were ably looked after by a captain, a cook, a guide and 2 ship hands - incredible service!

The weather started out cold and overcast but quickly warmed up - fantastic for kayaking. We paddled around some caves and saw spectacular lakes and scenery we would have missed otherwise. There was a bit of teamwork involved in steering the boat but we are happy to report no accidents occured!!

A very tasty traditional Vietnamese lunch followed (more food!) and after a couple of beers we settled into the lounges on the top deck for a cruise south to see some monkeys.

We rejoined the Jasmine in the afternoon and had a drink with the new group of shipmates. A seafood BBQ followed and we retired to watch some DVDs.
