*dancing hippies from Cali
*Chan Chan and pyramid of the Sun and moon
*Party in the Plaza with 3 musicians, a Scientist from Berlin, Tim the Brit, a Bar owner and a not so Italian Peruvian
We take a night bus from Huaraz to Trujillo and arrive at 6:00AM like every bus stop that we have encountered there is a hoard of taxi cab drivers waiting at the gate pushing there hostel. The taxi cab drivers get a tip from hostels if they bring in guests. We met Tim a Brit in the same situation, so he asked if he could join us (Luke, Dominic,Me) Dominic is still traveling with us until we get to Piura. He is going to volunteer there for 2 months. We made it to our hostel after a long time looking. Casa de Clara is a nice homely hostel. They cook breakfast for you and lunch if you choose. It is run by a British man and his Peruvian wife. Tim spent most of his time sitting on the couch with the owner arguing politics and futbol. It was quite comical because most of the time they were sipping on tea. The hostel offered trips to Chan Chan pre-inca ruins that were interesting but not enough to carry on. I got good photos of there painting and how they constructed each layer of the pyramid one on top of the other. After the tour of Chan Chan the grouped returned to the hostel to have lunch. There was a group of Californians staying at the hostel with us. In preparation for lunch this group of about 8 went outside and began to wave their bodies rhythmically as if in a trans and hold hands in a circle. At first i thought they were going to do yoga stretches or something but that wasn't the case. They looked like groupies from a Panic concert on a crazy trip. i did everything to keep from laughing. It was very humorous.
There wasn't much to Trujillo the town was crammed with taxi cabs and they had a beautiful plaza de armas. While walking down the street we met
