I did not know what to expect from New York City.
I was looking forward visiting NYC and good thing was that I visited before the storm Sandy swept through the city...
Fortunately the weather there was really good except the day I visited Liberty island. At that day the weather was terrible! But in general it was good (besides the wind which could be constant and cold).
NYC is a huge city that can accommodate everyones' tastes.
It has tons of things to do and see that the 10 days I was there I didn't manage to get to see half the things I wanted to
My experiences with the people were very positive. People in general seemed very friendly and helpful, certainly more interactive than the English.
What is really nice with NYC is that it is a melting pot of people from all kinds of ethnic backgrounds! And the best is that they all blend in!
The city though in general is quite dirty as is its transportation system, especially the subway, (maybe because it is 24 hour open) which is very old and not as efficient as that of London.
Also it is very expensive and you can not live on your own.
Overall I had an awsome time and to a great extent was because of the friends I knew and made there! Thank you so much Erin and Ruchika for showing me such a great time (and Rina as well)!
