It is a charming old town situated on a bend in the Vlatva River and although we had seen many medieval towns by this stage, the serene natural setting won us over. The town boasts a large castle and mini Versailles style garden but the main attraction is canoeing or rafting down the river past forested mountains and down the occasional rapid.
