We headed back to Kathmandu after relaxing in Pokhara and spent the next 24 hours trying to work out flights and visas for China. Some really bad news was discovering someone had managed to get into Michael's online bank account and transfer $6000 out. Long (and expensive) phone calls to the bank followed and we are now awaiting the results of an investigation that will hopefully return the money. Not sure how else we are supposed to manage our money besides using the internet while travelling....

Found a bargain flight out of Delhi so we took an early flight back to India for 24 hours. Delhi was hot but thankfully the rickshaw drivers were well behaved so we got around fairly easy and cheaply. After checking in to our hotel (with a urinal at the alley entrance to remind us why we are only here for 24 hours) we visited a beautiful Sikh Temple where we enjoyed live music and a free meal of dhaal and chappatis with over 400 other people, quite an experience. We then headed to the first Muslim mosque in India and a very large (72.5m) and ornate victory tower at Qutb Minar then hopped in to another rickshaw to take us to a Ba'hai Temple that resembles the Sydney Opera House. It was very peaceful and different to any other temple we have visited. Our next stop was a quick curry before heading to a free concert featuring some 'legends' of Indian music and dance. A great way to end our whirlwind tour of Delhi.

Our plane departure was delayed by four hours, then when we finally boarded we spent another four hours sitting on the plane staring out at the hot Delhi tarmac! The airline finally served lunch after a number of Indian passengers threatened to stage a revolt and eventually we departed for Shanghai.
