We had a day on the side of the road at Chambers Gorge near Akaroola in the north of the Flinders Ranges and then drove into the gorge in the morning to see some aboriginal drawings in a beautiful setting. Lots of wild goats and emus. We then drove down to Wilpena Pound an area in the heart of the Flinders. The next day we completed another  7 hour 23km walk to the highest peak (St Marys) in the area for lunch "what a view " we had to climb rocks as big as Rachael and the kids where like billy goats. We got back late in the afternoon just in time to get a ice cream (my knees are trashed again). Sat that night writing the blog and had kangaroos came up to the side of the van and watched the eagle over head playing in the thermals.

Travelling out the next morning we viewed the solar/diesel hybrid power source for the Wilpena Pound Biggest in Australia
