Todayīs the day the Teddy Bears had their picnic! The Teddy Bears happened to be 2 chappys and a bus conductor... and we were their picnic!!
Indeed folks... we were robbed!!!
It all happened in the space of 10 minutes. We were on the bus from Quito to Banos. Two blokes hop on to the bus, say "Hola" to their bus conductor buddy, and sit down right behind us.... we were the only people on the fluppin bus... why sit down behind us ?
Anyways, to make a long story short... one clown managed to drag our bag underneath the seat whilst the other muppet distracted us by trying to open the window next to us. The dipsticks were then able to open our bag and extract for themselves some goodies.... namely a tasty camera with about 400 pictures on it along with Sarahīs sunglasses!!
They then jumped off the bus once they signalled their buddy bus conductor to stop... and they didnīt pay any fare at all!!!!!

This was the ULTIMATE pain in the ass incident... because of having all the pix on the camera, it also explains the lack of pix we have uploaded In all our time travelling, between the 6 months this trip and the year away last time all we ever had robbed from us was a bottle of diluted orange from a fridge in a campsite somewhere in New Zealand!!!! Gutted!!!
We reported the incident to the coppers... but they didnīt really give a monkies... but they did say that the bus conductor was defo in on the gig!!! Ah Well!!!
Oh... yeah... Banos was a really really lovely town and we saw a volcano kinda blowin up and did an ardous hikey type walk thing!! We loved the town!
