Our final destination in Central America!!!!!
Our time in Panama City was spent preparing to leave!! Seriously, we had to organise a package to be sent home... at that took at least a day. We really spoiled ourselves here... for the 3 nights we were in Panama City.. our dinners consisted of the following... Dominoes Pizza, McDonalds Meal and Chinese Takeaway.... mmmmm... heathy or wha!
So, the only 2 things that Panama is famous for is
1. Hats
2. The Canal.
We bought a Panama Hat and then we visited the Canal.
On our final night in Central America we went and had a HOOLIE..... !! We got cheap beer early in the day and headed into the Veneto Casino for the evening... what a laugh we had... especially when Sarah had to call the staff a few times... in order to claim cashback of 19 cents!!!!!
Hard to believe that we've been away from home for over 4 months and have seen bucket loads of things. Here's what we felt was the bestest of each country we´ve been to:
Mexico: ALL the ruins, really awesome, from Teotihuacan to Palenque to Chichen Itza.
Cuba: Havana, without a doubt one of the best cities in the world.
Belize: Caye Caulker, laid back chilled out Jah Rastafari island.
Guatemala: Antigua, a stunning city, Christmas and New Years here was awesome.
Honduras: Cofradia, teaching kids and setting up a pc lab for one month was an experience.
Nicaragua: San Juan Del Sur, another chilled out beachside town.
Costa Rica: Mount Arenal, the volcano spewing red hot lava is a sight to behold.
Panama: The canal, absolutely amazing feat of engineering.
Thats a good bit of travelling done... more on the way.... Flying to Quito, Ecuador next.
23 Mike & Sarah at the ´Anama Canal´!
