We left San Jose at 7.30am.... 9 hour bus journey ahead... yuk!!

The bus was disgustingly hot. There was no air conditioning and for some reason nobody wanted to have their windows open... not even the forgieners on board. By the time we reached the Panamian border we were sweating like two little piglets in a pig pod!

"Borders... ahhh... got to love em!"
Leaving Costa Rica... no problem.
Entering Panama... problem!

We were sooo nearly refused entry into Panama cause we had no tickets to show we were leaving Panama. Itīs a requirement for entry into the country. So, Mrs.W (Jnr) shoved her head into his little window and did the whole batting the eyelids and saying we didnīt know and that we would book them in David.  He wasnīt comfortable with letting us in at all !  But, sure enough, the olī McGarry charm worked and we got in.

Then in customs, we didnīt declare we had food in Mikes bag īcause we didnīt want to throw out what we had, only to buy the same thing again.  So, we chanced it.  Yer man went to open Mikeīs bag but Sarah quickly opened hers and started taking out her stuff.....that distracted him....(she only wished she had something with wings to frighten him off!). Anyway, we managed to smuggle in our tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits! ......weīre sooooo maaad like ....real dodgy business this like!!

David .... I swear, this town is renowed for the heat.....now we know why. I donīt know how people operate here.. the heat is unbearable ! Off to Panama city tomorrow...7 hours in the bus....hopefully will have an air-con bus !

Travelled 9 hours in the bus to Panama in MAJOR heat with NO Air Con...and our seats were in the centre of the bus with no window!!!! It was yuck !!
