Not much of an entry for San Jose as we did nothing there... only book a bus and listen to an American guy in the hostel talk all the time.

Just a quick one about the poor American chap. He was 40 years old and talked as if he was about 90 years old. Every time that he talked to us he put on a stupid Irish accent, you know the one that all the leprechauns seem to have in the movies, and kept saying "Top o da mornin´to ye!". All day he sat in front of the TV in the communal area and looked at the weather on Fox News Channel for the weather in the are where he was from in the US.  He asked some bizarre questions... like.... "Does Ireland have a Queen ?"  amongst others. He was the stereotypical mid west American hillbilly... real innocent, all that mattered was America... but it has to be said that he was a real nice guy!

The only other thing to report from San Jose was Sarah´s encounter with the WAAAGON in the bus station.
Time: 5.55pm, Sarah runs into bus station to book tickets, she was told she needed the passports to do so, Sarah says "two seconds, have them outside"
Time: 5.57pm, Sarah sprints out to Mike in waiting taxi, gets passports.
Time: 5.58pm, Sarah gets back into the bus office.... "We´re CERRADO"... CLOSED!!!

The ´wagon´ told Sarah "we´re closed now" (even though she was looking at Sarah from the same seat she was in 2 mins previous). She basically closed up shop before Sarah got back from the taxi outside the door and told her that we had to come back the next day!!! There are meanies everywhere in the world you know! She obviously needs a good long weekend!

That was the extent of our time in San Jose, capital of Kohstaaa Reeka

Nothing more to report.
