Got the 10.30am ferry from Isla de Ometepe back to the mainland.
Saw the two monkeys tied with chains around their necks in a tree swinging happily from branch to branch. Apparantly they are sick monkeys and the owner gives them medicine... hmmm... have my doubts about that one, just hope one of them doesn´t miss a branch, cos the poor bugger will hang himself!!
Got ourselves the good ole chickin bus from Rivas to San Juan del Sur (US$0.50c)
Once again, we found ourseleves wandering the streets with our backpacks looking for decent accommodation. We found a place for US$20 a night, but we only stayed there for one night, cos we found a really cool place, with our own balcony for the same price... job, job!
Did we stick by our plan ?
HELL YA!
Is it possible to get sunburnt in the shade... answer... YES... we did ! ! How the feck is that ?
We met up with the Canadian folks, Paul and Betty, for a few drinkies but that was about it for the extent of our time in San Juan.
Next up Costa Rica.

02 A sunset view from our table.....perfect bliss
San Juan is a cool beachside surfin town. Our plan... NOTHING!!! We felt that we just needed a place to sit tight for a few days... do some detoxin... walk on the beach... read our books and do feck all. Did we stick by our plan ?
