We took the MRT to Sentosa Island (similar to Centre Island in Toronto). Admission allows you to jump on and off buses to various places - we chose to do the Dolphin Lagoon, the Underwater World and the cable cars. (Yikes...what was I thinking?) I'm [Michelle] is scared of heights! The highest point reached is 90 metres. Once the cable car doors closed, there was no choice but to go through with it. And actually, it wasn't that bad... the only scary part was when Cam took pictures from either side of the cable car and the car kept shifting.
After my "Fear Factor" adventure, we headed back to Clarke Quay to look at the shops and restaurants along the waterfront, and then back to our hotel. We had a dinner at a beautiful restaurant by the water called Indochine, an asian-fusion type of restaurant. We ate outdoors, surrounded by flowers, candlelight and a magnificent view of the Singapore river, the river taxis, the shop houses and the skyscrapers. A memorable way to say goodbye to Singapore.
