It was everything we had hoped it would be, incredibly picturesque. We went to a restaurant for lunch and got a table on the water. We all had seafood and it was delicious. We had a delectable dessert too. All the while we were entertained by people going down the locks in front of us, especially a tour boat that got stuck=)
We wanted to go rafting so looked around to find an appropriate company. I bought some beautiful pashminas that I found at a great price, 720 crowns for four of them. We took some time picking out the absolute best ones.
We walked around taking pictures and enjoying the sites, eventually we found the rafting place and signed up, it was 400 crowns each I believe. We ended up taking an inflatable raft instead of the canoe because the water was rough and a lot of people were flipping.
We got in while Andi and Vanda took our cameras so they could get footage for us.
D'Arcy had really wanted to go rafting in Cesky Krumlov so he was really happy... he said to leave it all to him, which I basically did. We made it down the lock fine and he started getting cocky and standing up in the boat.
At the end we were pulled to the side and waited for everybody before heading back to Prague.
I was a bit nervous because we'd done a lot of walking and i was running my marathon the next day and was tired from nto sleeping well.
I turned in early in the hopes of getting a good night sleep once we got back to Reznicka, but I laid tossing and turning for 5 or 6 hours before I finally got off, to be awoken by the alarm clock at 6:30am!
