WOW! Only 10 days left til we leave! Good grief, I still cannot believe it! We got our tickets a few days a ago...that was VERY exciting....and we are leaving on May 27 and get back July 29. I will fly out of Atlanta airport and meet the rest of the group in LA. We will then fly to Brisbane and then to PNG (Papua New Guinea). Since we will be crossing the date line we will get there two days after we leave, but on the way back we will land in LA two hours before we left Australia! Talk about confusing! I will be in church on Sunday morning, but I think we are going to leave right after the Lord's Supper so we can get to the airport on time.

I just wanted to take the time, before I leave, to thank everyone for all your support both monetarily and especially your support in prayer! Please continue to pray for all of us. I know that none of this would have been possible without all the prayers on my behalf and I really appreciate it! The books that were donated are also a huge blessing and I know the kids will really enjoy them!

I want you all to know that I will miss you and that I am scared to death of going over there, but I really feel like this is something that I can do to spread God's word, so please keep me in your prayers! I know that it is easy to be overwhelmed by other cultures and not want to interact as much for fear of messing up, but please pray that I will work through that and be able to work with the people there.

Thank you all again and please keep in touch! You can leave messages on here and I will get them.

Good luck! You're leaving tomorrow so I don't know if you'll get this in the U.S. or New Guinea, but Josh and I will be praying for your safe travels! I didn't get a call about you on the side of the road somewhere between here and Georgia, so I assume you made it ok :). You're going to be great over there. Have fun!
