What a week! I hope that this post finds you in wonderful health and contentment! I hear that the weather has cooled off in the past few nights in GA! The weather was pretty dry and hot this week...until Saturday night when it stormed all night and my room flooded again, but that story is for later! Monday, our rest day, was a very nice relaxing day! Becky, April and I went for a walk in the morning and then Abby hosted a Japanese party for history class credit. It was a lot of fun and she even had a simple kimono made by the tailor! The food was great! The lady missionaries and a friend from down the road came to the party. I have French homework now and that took up a good deal of my day after that! French is coming I think. We started talking this week! Some of the conjugations still lose me, but I'm sure I'll get it soon...or my teacher will quit because I drive her nuts! :)

The school week went by pretty fast I'm rich! (10,000 CFA= $20 USD)

. Elijah has malaria so he was out most of the week. I saw him Sunday at church and he was running around so he is doing very well! In preschool we have learned L, F, E, I, and T! The boys are doing SO well! If any of you have preschoolers you need to get "Letter Factory!" It's a movie that is animated and helps the kids learn their letters! It is AMAZING! And after that commercial...Our biggest problem this week was learning little "e." You would be...ok, maybe just I was... surprised at how hard it is to draw a little "e!" In 5th grade we have been studying Japan and so on Saturday we did some origami. Daniel and I have been trying to do all of the things in the book...but I'm afraid the frog may have beaten me! Several of the kids have cold/sinus stuff so I guess it was only a matter of time before I too got "it!" I kept calling it sinus stuff...but I'm pretty sure it is/was a cold. It is pretty much gone now though!

Sunday morning we did not go to a village because the missionaries try to not be too present in the villages so that the people will not get too dependant on them. Since I knew we were not going to church until 3pm I was going to sleep in, but of course I woke up at 6:15am because internal clocks are annoying! ;-) Well, I have been told that it stormed so loud that night that many people did not sleep, but I had taken some Ny-Quil (wonderful stuff by the way) and didn't hear any of it Oh man! This snail got into the bush baby cage...

! I felt pretty good when I woke up, put my feet on the floor and....*squish.* Well, my room was flooded...again. Thankfully I did learn a little bit from last time so the only thing on the floor was my backpack (that poor thing was not meant to be dry) with my French notes in it! At least I have a good excuse for not doing my homework now...since it all kind of looks like those inkblot tests! Everyone came back and helped me mop out and I was VERY grateful! I had cleaned my room the day before and swept and now it is mopped! :) Maybe this is just God's way of telling me that I need to clean....or to build an ark...I'm not sure which! :)

The Emerson's guests from Alabama came in on Friday night which means that I have a camera and shoes. There are two men and three women. They are all very nice and one of the guys has even been through Roberta, GA! Only a very few people are able to say THAT! On Sunday night the lady visitors invited all of us girls over to the Emerson's house for a spa night! It was really nice to get to talk and fellowship for a while! They had scriptures that they read and a CD that they had made for each of us. They gave us pedicures and it was just a really nice night. They had even put bags together for us with all kinds of goodies in them! There were scriptures, a CD, chocolate, and lotion! It was just so nice of them to go through all of that trouble for people they had never met Origami fever!
Origami fever!
! I'm sorry this post is not very long or exciting. My head is pretty stopped up and I'm afraid that I'm going to start repeating myself soon!

I do have a few prayer requests: Please keep us all in your prayers as some of us are sick and others have to deal with us! Please pray that I can keep up my energy for preschool and school in general! Thank you all for the prayers for fuel! We have been getting it regularly now for the past week! Please keep praying for the roads to keep getting fixed. Please pray that God will continue to use me to be a blessing to the team here. Many of the missionaries are going to be traveling in the next week, please keep them in your prayers that they will be safe and that their families will be well without them here for a few days! I cannot tell you how important prayers are! I know that for me it is so easy to take for granted when things that I prayed about "work out," and never stop and thank God for it!

Thank you for the notes! It's really nice to hear from people back home! I pray that all of you are having a marvelous week and are able to see God's hand in everything!
