Where I stayed
Dear Renee, We love you and miss you every single day. Today is your birthday and we miss you so much. We know you would of been our beautiful little girl and wish you could be with us. We would not be here if you were here. It breaks our hearts to not have you here with us today and every single day. Please darling girl watch over your Mummy and Daddy as we travel the globe. Wherever we are and whatever we do we love you and think of you always. Happy Birthday to our darling girl, we love you forever. So dearly wanted, so deeply missed.
Love you baby girl, Mummy & Daddy xxxxxoooooxxxxx
This morning we woke up to another birthday without our baby girl
After breakfast at our hotel which consisted of bread roll and omelette which is just beaten egg fried and oily we went back up to our room. We cut the little cake we bought for Renee and it was quite nice, a sponge cake with mock cream. We packed our bags and then went for a walk to get some money. Its bank holiday here. We went to have lunch at the DMZ bar again and the pizza wasn't bad but they tend to be quite hard and crunchy.
After lunch we headed back to our hotel where we got transferred to Sinh Cafe (our pickup point for the buses). As we were getting on the bus Mary noticed that there were two incence sticks burning and thought well that won't be much good once the bus moves and was surprised that they have incence burning on the bus too, incence sticks are burning all the time everywhere in Vietnam. We headed off again on the sleeper buses (which you know by now Mary hates them). This time our trip was about 3 hrs from Hue to Hoi An. The trip was ok, not comfortable but the time went pretty quickly. We passed through some beautiful scenery and then some slums and little towns. There was one stage when we came across some construction on the road and we crossed a small bridge which I was rather frightened watching our bus go over this tiny bridge, I don't know how they do it, it didn't look safe but we made it through. I know I just need to shut my eyes all the way but I can't sleep so what is the point.
It was about 4.34pm here and worked out that this was the time Renee was born (8.34pm Australia time) so lying on the bus and Troy up the other end of the bus, staring out the window Mary bursts into tears. All the thoughts of Renee and her birth were flooding my mind.
We got to Hoi An about 5pm. Yeah we are off the bus!
