So we are home - safe and sound. The trip back was un-eventful. Dar Es Salaam was very hot, Dubai was about 27 degrees at 2 am, London cooler and Calgary about 8 degrees. Not a bad transition.

Chris is off to work today but I am going to take it easy - get unpacked, wash clothes, buy groceries, try to get over jet lag, that kind of thing. I'm happy to be back, but it was really hard to leave Zanzibar. It was such a beautiful place! It is nice though to be back somewhere where I can rinse by toothbrush with tap water, I know what the cab drivers should be charging me, I have more than two outfits to choose from and acess to a washing machine and dryer, and I get to sleep in my own bed.

Tomorrow it is back to the real world. Signing off...
