We arrived London at 6:30 or so in the morning. A very strange time to arrive in another country, especially without much sleep on the plane. Our first day in London was spent in somewhat of a sleep deprived, jet lagged fog, but we still pressed on. We took the "tube" from Heathrow to downtown. At that hour the trains were empty! The staff at the Fielding Hotel were great. They allowed us to check in at something like 9am and get settled in. We took a double decker bus tour of London for a few hours and saw all the big name places. We got off at the Tower of London and walked through it for 2 hours or so. We saw the outside of Buckingham Palace and wandered around Covent Garden. Michelle is immune to jet lag, so she headed off to see "Wicked" while I collapsed at 7pm
