The Northern Serengetti is green, hilly, forested part of the park. Almost the opposite of the flat, dry, desert, treeless Southern Serengetti. We did a morning and evening game drive today with Peter. The gigantic herds of wildebeest are here as well as hyena, elephants, impala, gazelle, elands, baboon, vervet monkey, lots of vultures (they follow the herds of wildebeest), crocodiles and hippos in the Mara River.
