Today we said good bye to Felix, our driver guide for 10 days and flew to the Northern Serengetti area to see the wildebeest migration.  We had the morning before we left Central Serengetti and watched a lion pride stalk and try to take a African Cape Buffalo.  The stalking was over an hour.  The lions approached very slowly and carefully.  3 of the pride actually attacked the buffalo but were unable to bring him down.  We were able to see only parts of the battle and still don't understand how the buffalo escaped with 3 lions after him, but he did, although I'm sure with much blood lose and lots to tell his friends.  We flew in a Cessna Caravan from the central area to Kogatenda airstrip in Northern Serengetti.
