We left Gibb's Farm after a hike and drove through the Ngorongoro Crater viewing wildlife including hippos, lions, zebra, elephants, etc. We spent the day in the crater and left just before sunset. The crater is full of animals, gigantic, spectacular, crowded and absolutely beautiful at sunset. We spent the night at a temporary camp in the conservation area, a short distance uphill from a Masai boma.
