This was Wicat's 3rd International Commercial Aviation Training Conference. Having done much of the technical support for the previous one in London, I was invited to help with this one, to be held in San Fransisco. It was my first visit to Wicat's head office in Orem, Utah. Set in the foothills of the Wasatch Front (part of the Rockies), I was in awe of the scenery. I didn't realise how much of a second home it was to be for the next 14 years. Having set up the equipment, Tony Tucker and I volunteered to drive the truck with all the kit in it to San Francisco
