Lunch in Taho, crossing the Sierra Nevada at around 10,000ft (probably a mistake to take a truck on a scenic route). Made San Francsico by evening. It immediately became my favourite city in the USA, and still is to this day. Very busy conference, but Deborah flew over and we had some time afterwards.
