Set off early, stopping for breakfast at Grannies in Heber City, then a second brreakfast at Green River in a 1950's stainless steel diner. In the hotal bar that night there was just me and the bar tender, when a bridal party came crashing in, somewhat merry already. The bride seemed to be ever so excited to be in the bar at the Holiday Inn (guess they're easily pleased in Wyoming). Her friends put some music on the juke box and insisted I danced with her (a tradition, apparanlty). Given she had been married for maybe two hours, I wondered where her new husband was. "Oh, he's at a bar with his friends.... he's a police sergeant". I was glad to cross the county line next morning without a pursuit.
