All I can say is that a second day in Chicago was more than warranted, even considering the schedule and time constraints we're under. Woke up early and took the Architecture River Cruise. One word: Spectacular. We had one of the most knowledgable docents you could ever ask for. The cruise is definitely a must for anyone visiting Chicago.

We then went to the Museum of Science & Industry. Wow. Everything from a full-sized 727 (United, of course), to trains, storms, coal mines and a Mythbusters exhibit, which we really enjoyed.

We then came back to The Loop, and walked from the Drake Hotel, up Michigan Avenue. The girls really loved the shopping and Grant found his favorite, a Lego Store!

Cap off the evening with a fabulous steak dinner at The Palm, and a Bailey's on the rocks by the fire at our très chic bar in the Radisson Blu (which was included in the architectural tour). What more could we ask for, other than for more time in Chicago!

Off to Madison and Minneapolis tomorrow! Woohoo (I'm afraid I might find the kids duct taped to their beds in the morning, they definitely don't want to leave, and I don't blame them). Two nights in Chicago was not enough. This is one city we all want to revisit!
