Dear Blog,

from Vienna we took a 2 hr train ride across Austria to Salzburg which i assume most of you know is where the Sound od Music was filmed. It is a beautiful town with surrounding hills, a Forttress, Palace and a gorgeous Old Town (Unesco Heritage listed) we spend our time there wanering around the old town, where there were lots of Christmas shops, Mum you would love it there. 10000000,s of decorations but i couldnt buy any as they could get broken. There is a very old Fortress that sits on a hill and looks over the town. It is the kind of city that is just pleasant to roam the streets. I really thought it was very beeeautiful as my Mum would say. We didnt do the Sound of Music tour though because it was sooooo expensive. nest we go to Innsbruck in which is at the base of the Alps in Austria
