Dear Blog,
from Mykonos we flew to Nurrenburg Germany to change planes and then to Vienna, the capital of Austria. It is a nice city, probably the cleanest we had seen so far. We spend 3 nights there and the first night we went to a traditional restaurant for some Beef clear soup with Pancake strips and Schnitzel, very yum. The man who owed the place was the nuttiest but finniest man we have come across, he was american but had lived in Austria for 17 years, very funny man. food was great. The following day we went into the old town and to the Hofburg Palace. This was where the rulers of the Austro-Hungarian empire lived for a few centuries until the fall of the empire in 1918 and end of WW1. The palace and museums inside are full of the most amazing silverwear and furiture etc. You realise how over the top these emporers lived. The following day we went to the Summer Palace, a very large Holiday home i tell you. It was on a huge property with amazing gardens and sculptures evrywhere. um thats all i can think of that is worth mentioning about Vienna, we stayed in a small apartment with only 1 other room which was very private. Next to Salzburg, the hills are alive there!!
